2. Duty to Inform
Law no. 58/2019, of August 8, hereinafter “LPDP”, and the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, hereinafter “GDPR”) ensure the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.
“Personal data” means any information, regardless of its nature or medium, including sound and image, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Protection does not apply to legal persons. An identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or one or more specific elements of their physical, physiological, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity (e.g. their name associated with their phone number or email address).
By reading this Privacy Policy, the user is informed about the processing of personal data carried out by Littler Portugal through the website www.littler.pt.
3. Purposes of Personal Data Processing
The personal data we process through the website identified above will be used solely for the following purposes:
a) Managing the hiring of services via the Website, such as scheduling meetings and contact requests;

Littler Portugal processes User data:

Whenever Littler Portugal accesses personal data, it commits to:
a) Store it using legally required technical and organizational security measures that ensure data protection, preventing alteration, loss, unauthorized processing, or access, in accordance with the current state of technology, data nature, and risks involved;
b) Use the data exclusively for predefined purposes;
c) Implement physical security measures to protect facilities;
d) Ensure that data is only accessed by employees whose involvement is necessary to fulfill the User’s request, and who are bound by confidentiality obligations. Where data is disclosed to third parties for the above purposes, they will be contractually bound to confidentiality obligations.
If Littler Portugal subcontracts services involving the handling of personal data, such entities will be required to adopt technical and organizational measures to protect the data from destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, unauthorized access, or any other unlawful processing.
